Got there at 1 as the grill opened. Placed our order around 1:10. Only 2 tables, 4 people ahead of us. After 30 minutes waitress confirmed who got what. Heard her call it out. Knew we weren't getting our food when a guy come in well after us and got his food. Asked 2nd waitress to check on our food. Never came back. After nearly an hour and no food, left a tip and went somewhere else to eat. Waitresses were very nice but how does it take 45 minutes to make a taco and a grilled cheese?
One of the fat best family-owned restaurants in this town everybody should go there especially Sundays they have all you could eat breakfast and they're going to start all you can eat breakfast on Saturdays I'm one of the cooks they're not only do I enjoy cooking there I also love to eat there so everybody come join us
Horrible slow service. Wasn't even busy and we heard one waitress say was sorry we're slammed. 4 tables it's slammed? ?!!!?? Received the wrong beer twice but drank it as it would be forever before I got the right one. Food was ok although waited long time for mayo for my dry burger. Water tastes like river water. Won't be back
Will never eat there again food sucks the place needs a mager update and her restront on the river walk suck to.
Nice hide away. Good menu!
Nice place. Will need to visit again sometime
Great food, wonderful people. Must try
We sat on the covered patio. There were flies but the fans were not turned on, and the table was not wiped down yet even though there were only 2 other groups dining. The fans were covered in dust and we were actually scared to see what would happen if they were turned on. The buffet was a disaster. All the plates were greasy - we chose the ones without black marks. The serving dishes were also covered in a film of grease and dust. And the food was awful save for the quiche. The eggs were dry and only the remnants remained, the potatoes were almost burnt, and the ham was just sitting casually on a chopping board despite all the flies. For advertising about brunch, the Coyote was more 'breakfast' than 'brunch' fare. Too bad because the location is lovely. It could be good but they need a new menu, more help behind the counters, and a cleaner atmosphere.
A hidden treasure. This place is awesome.
Horrible. Went for the mothers day brunch. Paid $22 per person and food was cold and gross. There was only 3 servers trying their best. They ran out of food and plates, and when my mom went to express our disappointment the OWNER snapped at her and was extremely rude. Instead of apologizing she yelled at her and then didn't validate her parking.
Excellent food, service and environment. Also works out great with free parking while enjoying walking, fishing and nature.
I ordered a salad that came with chicken, and the meat was raw. I'm pretty sure it was expired. The dishes are never clean my silverware had other food on it. The owner has a baby that screams all the time so loudly, it's interruptinting . Takes forever for any serviose it's ridiculous. My husband ordered a bloody Mary, and it was served to us by our 16 year old waitress. I don't think I will be coming back. Service is terrible and I'm very displeased.
Ok, nothing memorable. Food ok, service tried hard but they seem to be overwhelmed easily. Would try again if I could eat on the patio, great view.
Friendly atmosphere, live music on Thursdays evenings, Open Mike.
The food was subpar. Ordered with green chilli, there was maybe 2 tablespoons of green chilli on top, amd we were charged extra. Honestly don't know how it has stayed open as long as it has. My child was charged $12 for a half of a quesadilla with almost no french fries on the side. He left hungry, for $12. Very expensive, for bland, small portions. On top of all that, it was dirty.
Great food, live music every Thursday
Always a treat. Veronica & Staf are helpful , courteous and kind you couldn't ask for more the food is good the prices are decent and you can't get a better view in the state of Colorado go see them.
A great place with good food and friendly staff. The view of the Arkansas River is very good.
Totally unexpected. Fantastic burgers. I mean serious burgers, not fast food. Ate sitting on the deck overlooking the river and sipping a cold beer. Service was excellent. We highly recommend them.
Great burgers and fries, great portion of food and really good smoothies. Try their honeydew and their mango smoothies. Love this place. 😀😁😍😍
Great place to take pictures
The Sunday brunch buffet food was cold and congealed-like it was Saturday's leftovers that weren't warmed up enough. Nothing was replenished after it was emptied. Server never came back to check on us after we were seated. We had to ask for EVERYTHING... coffee refills, napkins, silverware. They didn't have cream (or creamer) for our coffee. So disappointed. For such a lovely location, it was a big let down.
Had a blast there this Thursday night !!! Happened to stumbled across this neet place. And it turns out that they had live Music and a lot of it !!! Food was good and so was the atmosphere. The next time in am back in town this will be a place I stop in and see
Horrible experience! We went for lunch on a weekday. The service was slow. It took at least 30 minutes for our drinks and an hour for our food. our chips and salsa came out right before our food. My burrito was supposed to be made with barbacoa beef, but instead had salty ground beef. It did not come with beans or rice as advertised. My husband's burger had raw onions instead of sautéed. When we brought this up with the waitress she didn't care and never apologized. No part of our meal was compensated. We will not be going back.
One of the best restaurants in Pueblo! These people know how to run a restaurant. Great services, fresh menu, clean, great food and affordable. The owner is almost always present and checks on all his guests... very real classy move. This location used to close every winter but the new owners installed an enclosed patio with heat. In the summer, you can't be the atmosphere. Open environment at a popular tourist heavy location. They don't mind if you eat on the boardwalk and are happy to serve you out there. I would call ahead for large groups, they will bring in extra staff!
Maybe it's the parking fee put there by the nature center, not the resturant. But to screw up in such a nice setting would seem hard to do. Hours of operation are iffy and seem variable, and service if not done by owner, is below horrible.
Please do not waste your money eating here! Food And service is TERRIBLE!!
great place for food by the river, showcase for talented musicians or a romantic spot for dinner.
Great location and food, not fast food...
Great Food!!! Nice scenery
Great place beautiful scenery
We tried to get a waiver for the $5 parking, but not sure she did it. Italian soda and canned beer was okay. She was rude to my friend and his band when they played there.
Such a relaxing place 😂 food is great
Great food, friendly service, love the outdoor patio
I accidentally posted before writing my review. We were there in August of 2015.We were very surprised to discover that it was under new ownership. The new menu and food is different from the previous owners, prices are high in comparison to what you get. It took a while to get refills, the people were all very nice. We haven't rushed back but I'm sure we will eat there again sometime just because it's convenient to hang out there.I wish them good look and hope that they have noticed that with a few tweeks, their business can be improved upon.
Once again, this place has disappointed my fmaily. We waited over 30 minutes for drinks (2 beers and 2 chocolate milks) and two hours for a burger, Chile cheese fries and a grilled cheese. My 2 and 3 yr old boys were starving and ready to go walk the trail, but we were stuck waiting for our food. When it did come out, the portion was tiny, they got my husband's burger wrong and forgot over and over to bring us more to drink. Then we were told our dogs can't be on the outside patio! We were to tie them up 10 feet away with strangers walking by constantly. What outdoor patio right next to the nature center doesn't allow dogs? This place is so poorly managed it's ridiculous. We wont be back until it gets a new owner.
Great relaxing place by the river to get something good to eat
Good food.....helpful staff ....GREAT time......GR
I've been here a number of times when not busy, last sat., the 24th of June, the owner had quite a few people. I waited an hour and 10 to get a wrap, others I talked to waited as long. We left, I address the owner, she said oh well, your meal is ready , but good, that's ok.and said she was by here self and ran out of potatoes. I didn't order potatoes, the place was dirty, mirror on wall hadn't been washed for yrs, windows filthy, most tables not bussed.the bathroom hallway and both men and woman's floor was flooded. No apologies, never came back to table to check on us, even sitting for an hour. This place will close, it's terribly run. I did have a good conversation with my gf during that time. Why is this place operating?
The chef spends all day trolling YouTube instead of trying to have a well functioning kitchen.
Great place and great food
The food tasted really good. Appetizer was small portioned for the price but still tasted good. Elequent selection of beer on hand.
It was closed and it sounds like they're changing it up a bit
Great place to eat great burgers
Dirty restaurant with unfriendly staff and nasty food. I ate better in prison.
